Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) has found that Wales has the least generous provision for free school meals across the UK. It means children growing up in poverty in Wales are less likely to get a free school meal than children growing up in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, because Wales has a tighter means-test and less generous universal infant provision than other nations.
