Helping Working Families Connecting Communities
Helping Working Families funds projects that bring about positive change in the lives of working families who are affected by poverty and supporting a child.
After discussions with working families already involved in the project we created theme circles as areas of focus. These are currently:
- Art/Culture;
- Food;
- Environment;
- Education;
- Fun & relaxing;
- Family Holidays
Opportunities to earn and spend time credits in the above areas have been created in line with the requests of the community
Family Activities
Just like The Factory’s Facebook page and message us to be added to the private Family Activities Group. It is a supportive community where you can get involved with lots of activities, such as on-line coffee mornings, quizzes and you can find some great ideas to do with your family.
We had fantastic fun over the past few months here at The Factory. We have had a Book Festival, Coffee morning, Art Summer School, Techniquest sessions and a Games morning.
There is lots more planned and we update this page regularly so keep checking back for competitions and activities.
We will also be offering on-line training opportunities too; working with partners such as Radio Platfform.
