Family Art Activity 8: Dot Art

Today we are going to be making a piece of artwork using dots.

We can use cotton buds or the end of a pencil or paintbrush.

What we need:

Paint
Palette
Pencil
Card
Water
Cotton Buds

Step 1. We are going to find an image to draw, keep it simple. I chose some fruit-an apple and a banana, also an umbrella as my images to draw.

Step 2: I drew them in pencil

Step 3: Then using cotton buds dipped in the paint, I painted in the lines with the dots instead of a paintbrush.

Keep going until you’ve filled the whole page
